Why Your EPUB Can Pass Preview But Still Get Rejected?
Amazon's KDP Previewer and Apple Books both use their own rendering engines, and neither one runs a full EPUBCheck validation before showing you a preview. The previewer is built to display your file, not to catch every structural error in it. That's why a file can look completely normal in the previewer and still fail validation when the platform actually processes it for distribution. The real validation happens later, using a much stricter set of rules — and different platforms enforce those rules differently. Understanding this gap is the first step to avoiding rejected uploads.

Want to check your EPUB before uploading? BookKraft AI's free EPUB Validator runs a full structural check — no signup required — and flags exactly the kind of issues covered in this guide before you submit to KDP, Apple Books, Kobo, or IngramSpark.

A green n8n run can still fail the business outcome—8 checks I now run
I audited my own public n8n sample and found two embarrassing defects: it generated an idempotency key without durable replay ownership, and it validated reviewer identity but dropped that evidence before the final receipt. Both could still look green in a shallow check. That changed my definition of done. Before trusting a workflow I now test: durable replay ownership, concurrent duplicates, trigger heartbeat, output schema, data freshness, authority evidence, terminal receipts, and recovery rehearsal. I turned the checklist into a free browser-only audit. Nothing is uploaded and no email is required: https://builderlog.net/n8n-reliability-audit/?utm_source=launchpadly For founders running customer-facing automations: which false-green failure has cost you the most time?

FAQ
Common questions
Who is Launchpadly for?
+
Early-stage startups that want a simple place to be found. List for free after a quick review, or choose a paid tier when you want more visibility on the homepage.
Is it free to get listed?
+
Yes. The free option goes live after review (usually a few days) and asks for a small badge on your site. Paid tiers add faster go-live and homepage placement.
How is this different from Product Hunt?
+
We're a smaller, founder-focused directory with a weekly board and a page that stays up for your startup. Less hype for a day, more of a lasting listing.
What do I get when I'm approved?
+
A public page for your startup that stays on Launchpadly, plus a spot in the weekly feed where founders browse and upvote.
How do upvotes work?
+
Anyone can upvote once per startup from their browser — no account needed. Rankings update in real time and determine placement in the weekly feed and Top All Time page.
