I audited my own public n8n sample and found two embarrassing defects: it generated an idempotency key without durable replay ownership, and it validated reviewer identity but dropped that evidence before the final receipt. Both could still look green in a shallow check. That changed my definition of done. Before trusting a workflow I now test: durable replay ownership, concurrent duplicates, trigger heartbeat, output schema, data freshness, authority evidence, terminal receipts, and recovery rehearsal.
