How Launchpadly’s weekly board works

Understand weeks, rankings, winners, and what happens after launch day.

Launchpadly is a weekly startup directory and launch board. That model is intentional.

Why weekly

Daily boards create urgency but also invisibility for anything that misses the first hours. Weekly boards:

  • Give founders more time to gather real feedback
  • Create a bounded competition window
  • Produce clean archives (/week/{year}/{week}) for “what launched then” queries

How ranking works

  • Visitors upvote listings (deduped)
  • Sort modes include trending, latest, and top
  • Featured and sponsored placements are labeled and separate from raw upvote rank

What you get when approved

  • A permanent /startup/{slug} page
  • Placement on the weekly board for your launch week
  • Category, tag, and tech discovery surfaces
  • Optional Premium editorial review page

Where to browse history

  • Homepage ?period=last for last week
  • /week/{year}/{week} archives
  • /winners for Products of the Week
  • /best and /best/{category} for all-time leaders

Founder tip

Treat the week as a campaign window, then treat the listing as a durable asset. Most of the SEO and AI-citation value accrues after launch week — through completeness, reviews, and alternatives connectivity.

FAQ

Is Launchpadly a daily launch site?
No. Launchpadly uses weekly boards so launches stay visible longer than a one-day spike while still creating a shared moment.
How is Product of the Week chosen?
After the week closes, the top upvoted product is recognized and archived on /winners. Editorial picks may also highlight additional listings.
Can I appear on a future week?
Yes — choose a launch week at submit time when scheduling is available, or relaunch later after the cooldown.
