About

Bleepster mutes swear words in YouTube videos while the video keeps playing. It reads YouTube's own captions and uses context-aware AI to detect profanity, including slang, disguised spellings and mixed languages. Only the word goes silent, or you can choose a classic censor bleep.

A 4-digit Parent PIN locks the settings. Safe start can briefly pause new videos while the opening is analyzed. Analyzed videos are cached locally, so rewatches do not use another free video. Audio never leaves your browser tab; only caption text is sent for AI analysis.

Available for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Mac. The first 10 newly analyzed videos are free. Premium is $4.99/month or $19.99 once for lifetime access, for one household on up to 3 devices or browser profiles. No personal AI API key is required. Videos without captions cannot be filtered; caption quality affects accuracy.
