I've been writing code for over 15 years, and working on payment systems for the last few. I currently lead the tech team at Jabu, a fintech digitising cash across Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia through smart safes, P2P/B2B transfers and bank integrations. Day to day that means payments architecture, ISO 8583 messaging, integrations with national switches and banks, and keeping a distributed team running smoothly. My main stack is Laravel/PHP on the backend and Swift on iOS, though the problem
