About

Egmatic is a no-code editor for 2D games aimed at solo developers and small teams. The part where most tools stop — publishing — is where this one starts. Game logic is assembled in a visual node editor; scenes are composed with drag and drop; a real-time preview replaces build cycles. One project exports to Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and Web.

Under the hood, a project is a set of clean, versioned JSON contracts, and the runtime is a separate engine built on .NET 9 and MonoGame — so a finished game never gets locked inside the editor that made it.

The roadmap follows the same direction: player accounts, cloud saves and leaderboards for your players, with no backend to write, deploy or host. AI assistance inside the editor is planned, and the data model was designed for it from the start.
